Welcome to AAFE’s level I Foundational Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Filler and Frontline TMJ live training courses designed for medical professionals looking to integrate or add esthetic and therapeutic injectables into their careers and practices. These comprehensive, hands-on training courses provide foundational education in facial esthetics using botulinum neurotoxin and dermal fillers.
AAFE attendees who take this course will be trained in injectable safety protocols and anatomically based techniques. Add these valuable services to your practice and give your patients the best esthetic and therapeutic treatment outcomes.
Course Schedule: The course spans 3 days.
DAY ONE:
- 8:00am – 5:00pm – Botulinum Toxin (Botox) level I training
DAY TWO:
- 8:00am – 5:00pm – Dermal Filler level I training
DAY THREE:
- 8:00am – 12:00pm – Frontline TMJ & Orofacial Pain level I training
- 1:00pm – 5:00pm – Botulinum Toxin (Botox) level II training
Prerequisite Notice:
Enrollment in Frontline TMJ requires completion of Botulinum Toxin level I training.
Course Length and CE Hours: This is a board approved 21 hour training course.
The Frontline TMJ course contains 6 hours of lecture, didactic, video and theory to be completed online prior to the live patient course. The 3 courses combined total – are 26 CE/CME hours with the botox and dermal filler courses being a total of 21 CE hours. (ADA CERP, AGD PACE, AMA PRA, AANCP, ANCC, AAPA, IPCE)
Model Patients and Course Product: You will bring 1 model patient to each course you register for. You may use the same model patient for each course. We do provide free course products – 1 vial of neurotoxin 50 units will be provided for use for the Botox course and a second vial for the Frontline TMJ course, plus 1 syringe of filler will be provided for use at the Dermal Filler course. With the product being provided, it is free for your patients to attend. We’ve found it to be in very high demand for patients to want to join you – our attendees, at the course.
Additional injectable product will be available for purchase onsite to treat patients during your training. Purchase of additional injectable product is not required, but may be recommended for Individual treatment plans.
Auxiliary materials including syringes, numbing agents, gloves, etc. are provided at the course.
