Attendees must have completed the AAFE Level I PDO Thread Training Course (or an equivalent foundational thread lift course) as well as all required prerequisite virtual on-demand lecture modules.

The course covers advanced facial SMAS layer anatomy, deep vs. superficial insertion planes, managing asymmetry, preventing thread extrusion/puckering, managing infections, and proper use of local anesthesia protocols.
Yes, participants diagnose, plan vectors, and perform advanced PDO thread procedures on live model patients under direct faculty supervision.
Yes, attendees are required to bring a model patient who is a suitable candidate for advanced thread lifting. Attending team members or registered colleagues may also serve as model patients.
Attendees earn up to 14 CME/CE contact hours upon completing the live clinical instruction and prerequisite virtual modules.
Credits are accredited and accepted by ADA CERP and AGD PACE (for Dentists), AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (for Physicians), AANP (for Nurse Practitioners), ANCC (for Nurses), and AAPA (for Physician Assistants).
