AAFE’s Cadaver Lab course will be unlike anything you’ve experienced in injectable education. You’ll go deep into the anatomy that matters most for safe injection — tissue depths, vascular transitions, fat pad relationships, neurovascular bundle locations — the details that separate confident injectors from hesitant ones.
This private, limited-attendance, and immersive course combines hands-on cadaver dissection with AAFE anatomist faculty, esthetic ultrasound training, and PDO thread cadaver lab experience—three powerful skill sets in one training.

Identify key facial esthetics injection anatomical landmarks, safe zones, danger areas, and facial planes for optimal safety and treatment outcomes

Everything you need to know before enrolling
It is an advanced, hands-on clinical lab training course that combines live facial injections on fresh human cadavers with layer-by-layer anatomical dissection to give injectors an inside view of facial tissue planes, vascular risk zones, and precise product placement.
The goal is to bridge the gap between surface injection techniques and deep internal anatomy, enabling injectors to avoid high-risk vascular structures, prevent severe complications (such as vascular occlusion and tissue necrosis), and master depth accuracy for Botox®, dermal fillers, and PDO threads.

Yes, attendees receive extensive training on avoiding vascular occlusions, emergency treatment protocols using hyaluronidase, and managing adverse events based on visual cadaver evidence.
Attendees must complete required virtual on-demand anatomy modules prior to attending the hands-on lab. Prior experience with foundational facial injectables is recommended.
Participants earn up to 8 to 10 CME/CE contact hours upon completing the live cadaver lab training and online coursework.
